The Multi Rod Dryer is designed to dry up to 16 rods and is easily adjusted to accommodate various rod lengths. The weight of the rods is supported by smooth bearings riding in a dedicated track. Other designs relying only on an axle may flex during use and cause abrasions on the rods.
Kit includes the rotisserie bracket and motor as well as adapters for common rod dryer motors utilizing either the through hole or flat on the dryer motor shaft. This is a great option for applications such as ice rods or wooden handles. Two (2) different size adapters have been provided 0.283” and 0.250” for your convenience. Kit also includes wireless remote-control outlet and 1 set rubber bands for securing the rod blanks.
The 9 ft long - Multi Rod Dryer Axle (1/4" aluminum square stock) to be purchased separately and ships separate. One (1) shaft coupler has been provided to tie together the 1/4" axle sections.
All adapters and couplers are designed with options for securing the axle in place:
•Brass inserts with M3 screws (provided)
•Hole to place pin thru coupler/adapter to axle (user to drill the axle sections)
•Spiral masking tape around axle and coupler/adapter
Rods must be evenly loaded and radially balanced to evenly distribute the rotational weight.
Pads are designed on the track to allow clamping to the work surface.
Dryer disks can be converted to ¾” axle by simply removing the snap in adapter.
