Improving the single pin popsicle stick method, these sleeves provide four (4) points to wrap your thread and reverse direction when creating your cross wrap design. These sleeves secure easily with your favorite tape and provide nearly 360-degree protection of your rod blank. The 1" surface can be cut against minimizing the concern of damaging your blank. Each size includes two (2) sets of two (2) pcs. or four (4) pieces of each diameter. Each sleeve is clearly and permanently marked with its corresponding diameter.
The extra small diameter kit includes diameters of 0.14", 0.18", 0.22" and 0.26".
The small diameter kit includes diameters from 0.30-0.85" in increments of 0.05".
The large diameter kit includes diameters from 0.90-1.25" in increments of 0.05". The benefits of the larger sizes allow for cross wraps on larger rods or doing a cross wrap after the grips are installed.
On the small and large size sleeves. the end opposite the pins are alignment marks to aid in your setup.
