This rod hand wrapping station utilizes standard T track providing the ultimate in portability and workspace flexibility. You are no longer limited to narrow workspaces.
Rod stands and the thread carriage are easily aligned and secured to the T track using included 1/4-20 bolts and easy grip knobs. This enables easy setup, tear down and packing for easy transport. Great for instructors teaching classes as well as builders looking for upgraded features in a rod hand wrapping station. A second spool location is molded into the thread carriage for easy conversion.
The metal thread tension arm is designed for durability and easy threading (no guide tip to thread).
Each kit contains: 3 rod support stands with bands to secure your rod, 1 thread carriage for two spools of thread, 1 slide with hook, 1 spare slide, 1 set thread tension magnets, 1 steel tension arm, and hardware as pictured.
Kit option: expand your workspace with the T track expansion connector to tie sections of T track together. Two slot width sizes included.
Expected lead time on this product is approximately 2 weeks as these are made to order. Colors are listed (jeans blue is shown). Custom colors are available but may impact cost and timing (email sales@customrodbuildingjigs.com for price and delivery).
3/4" x 3/8" T track (not included) is readily available in 3' and 4' lengths online. T track should be compatible with standard 1/4-20 hex bolt heads.
